Arjumand Rahim is a distinguished Pakistani television actress, director, and producer, born on January 1, 1980, in Karachi, Sindh. Hailing from a prominent artistic family, her father is the celebrated satirist Anwar Maqsood, and her brother is musician Bilal Maqsood. Rahim embarked on her acting journey in 1995 with Urdu theatre productions while still in college, later making her television debut in the PTV telefilm 'Qurat-ul-Ain'. After a hiatus to pursue a diploma in film direction from the New York Film Academy, she resumed her acting career more consistently from 2004 onwards, solidifying her multifaceted presence in the Pakistani entertainment industry. Throughout her career, Rahim has been celebrated for her versatile performances, tackling a range of complex roles that often highlight strong female characters and societal critiques. She gained widespread recognition for her iconic portrayal of Pari in the hit romantic comedy series 'Suno Chanda' (2018) and its sequel 'Suno Chanda 2' (2019).
