Ahad Raza Mir

Ahad is currently the face of the most anticipated project in Pakistani history, Jo Bachay Hain Sang Samait Lo (Netflix), playing the lead role of Sikandar Sheheryar. In January 2026, he marked 9 years in the industry, a milestone celebrated by major publications for his "substance over spectacle" approach. He is also set to star in the film Inspector Jamshed as Behzaad and the Green Entertainment drama Aik Muhabbat Aur. International Breakthrough: Ahad is the first mainstream Pakistani actor to land significant roles in major Western franchises. He played Arjun Batra in the Netflix original Resident Evil (2022) and Rajib Pal in the BBC One World War II drama World on Fire (2023). These roles established him as a global talent who commands space in international narratives without "dilution or apology". The "Asfi" & "Adam" Legacy: His television career is defined by genre-shifting hits. His breakthrough as Dr. Asfandyar in Yaqeen Ka Safar (2017) remains a cultural touchstone. He later redefined the modern hero in Ehd-e-Wafa (Captain Saad), the psychological thriller Yeh Dil Mera (Amaanullah), and the record-breaking Ramadan comedy Hum Tum (Adam Sultan), for which he won the Hum Award for Best Actor (2024). Theater & Shakespearean Excellence: Unlike many peers, Ahad is a formally trained stage actor with a BFA from the University of Calgary. In 2019, he became the first South Asian to play Hamlet professionally in Canada, winning the prestigious Betty Mitchell Award. He reprised the role in 2023 at the Rose Theatre Brampton to critical acclaim. Background & Dynasty: Born on September 29, 1993, in Karachi, he is the son of the legendary Asif Raza Mir and grandson of filmmaker Raza Mir. Despite his lineage, he started in the corporate sector (BBA student) before switching to theater. In late 2024, he starred in Meem Se Mohabbat alongside Dananeer Mobeen, further proving his chemistry with the new generation of stars.
