Nazish Jahangir is a prominent Pakistani television actress known for her compelling performances and her advocacy for mental health awareness. Born and raised in Islamabad, she initially pursued a degree in fine arts and fashion design. Encouraged by her professor, renowned artist Jamal Shah, she ventured into performing arts, beginning her career in commercial theatre with Anwar Maqsood in 2015. Jahangir made her television debut in 2017 with the drama serial "Bharosa," portraying the character Samia. Her career gained significant momentum with notable roles such as Zoya in "Thays" (2018), Faiza in "Tohmat" (2018), Nimra in "Kam Zarf" (2019), and the antagonist Shameela in "Kahin Deep Jaley" (2019), for which she earned a nomination for Best Emerging Talent in Television at the 2021 Lux Style Awards. Beyond her acting prowess, Nazish has openly discussed her personal battle with PTSD, becoming a vocal advocate for mental health awareness in Pakistan. In 2022, she made her cinematic debut in the horror-comedy film "Lafengay," followed by an appearance in the romantic comedy "Poppay Ki Wedding" in 2024.
