Asma Abbas

Asma Abbas is a highly respected Pakistani actress, producer, singer, and host, celebrated for her versatile performances across Urdu films and television dramas. Born on August 15, 1958, her career spans decades, beginning in 1978 during PTV's golden era. She gained early recognition for her work in classic satirical comedy shows like *Fifty Fifty*. Abbas is part of a prominent showbiz family, being the daughter of writer and journalist Ahmad Bashir, and the sister of acclaimed actresses Bushra Ansari and Sumbul Shahid. She is also the mother of popular actress Zara Noor Abbas. Throughout her extensive career, Asma Abbas has delivered numerous memorable performances, often in impactful supporting roles. Her notable drama appearances include *Dastaan* (2010), *Gohar-e-Nayab* (2013), *Nanhi* (2013), and *Laaj* (2016).
