Deepak Perwani is a prominent Pakistani fashion designer and actor, celebrated for his significant contributions to both the fashion industry and television. Born on December 25, 1973, in Mirpurkhas, Sindh, Perwani embarked on his journey in fashion at the age of 20 in 1994, launching a menswear line that revolutionized Pakistani fashion. He later expanded his brand, Deepak Perwani (DP), in 1996, to include bridal and formal wear couture. His distinctive designs and innovative approach have earned him numerous accolades, including seven Lux Style Awards and international recognition as the sixth-best fashion designer globally by the Bulgarian Fashion Awards in 2014. Beyond his illustrious career in fashion, Perwani has also made a notable mark in acting. He made his acting debut in the drama series "Mere Paas Paas" in 2004-2005. Since then, he has appeared in several television dramas, including a critically acclaimed role as Bakhtiar in "Qarz-e-Jaan" in 2025.
