Leader story
Leader, the latest blockbuster drama serial on HUM TV, is a gripping exploration of power, student activism, and the volatile nature of feudal politics in Pakistan. Written by the acclaimed Radain Shah and directed by Asad Mumtaz Malik, the series follows the transformative journey of Mansoor (played by the charismatic Ali Raza), a farmer’s son who emerges as a revolutionary voice within a prestigious university. His mission is clear: to dismantle the systemic oppression and feudal legacies that have long held his community captive. However, the narrative takes a high-stakes turn when Mansoor falls for Rubab (the versatile Kinza Hashmi), the daughter of the very political powerhouse he is determined to overthrow. Their romance becomes the epicenter of a national conflict, forcing both characters to choose between familial loyalty and ideological conviction. Produced by Momina Duraid Productions, Leader stands out as a "Gold Standard" in the Pakistani television industry, blending a high-octane political thriller with a poignant, forbidden romance. With stellar performances from a veteran ensemble including Farhan Tahir and Ali Safina, this Pakistani drama is currently trending for its bold storytelling and sharp social commentary. Whether you are a fan of intense dialogue or complex character arcs, Leader is a must-watch addition to the 2026 HUM TV lineup.
