She holds a master's degree in mass communication from Queen Mary College and began her career as a video jockey for channels like Samaa TV, Waqt News, and Dunya News before venturing into acting. Her breakthrough performance in the romantic drama "Mann Mayal" (2016) earned her a Lux Style Award for Best TV Actress, solidifying her position as a leading lady in the Pakistani television industry. Transitioning to films, Maya Ali made a successful big-screen debut in 2018 with the romantic comedy "Teefa in Trouble" and followed it with another box office hit, "Parey Hut Love" (2019), both ranking among Pakistan's highest-grossing films.
