Career Beginnings Saba Qamar started her acting career in 2004 with the PTV Home series Main Aurat Hoon. In 2005, she appeared in ATV's Chaap and later that year, she took on the role of Tania in the comedy drama Sussar In Law. She also had appearances in PTV's Hera Pheri & Company and the Punjabi anthology series Jag Beeti. In 2006, Qamar was in several PTV series including Kahin Tum Kahin Hum, Phool, Apno Ka Sath, and Dhoop Mein Andhera Hai. She also played supporting roles in Gharoor and Taqdeer for PTV, and Banjar for Geo Entertainment. In 2007, she appeared in ATV's Khuda Gawah and Muhabbat Ab Nahi Hogi. Her role as Ruqsana Inayat in the 2009 historical drama Jinnah Ke Naam brought her positive media attention. Rise to Fame Qamar's career gained further momentum with the 2010 pre-partition drama Dastaan. She received a Pakistan Media Award for her role in Dastaan. She also appeared in Uraan in 2010.
