Sheheryar is currently headlining the 2026 ARY Digital blockbuster Dar-e-Nijaat as the lead protagonist Zaryab, starring alongside Durefishan Saleem and Sahar Hashmi. He is also in post-production for his next directorial feature under his banner, The Vision Factory. In February 2026, he received the Best Actor (Critics' Choice) award at the 11th Hum Awards for his performance in the 2025 series Radd. The "Zindagi Gulzar Hai" Debut (2012): Sheheryar’s career began with a massive splash as Osama in the cult classic Zindagi Gulzar Hai. His portrayal of the gentle, supportive friend to Kashaf (Sanam Saeed) made him an immediate heartthrob and established him as a refined performer. The "Parey Hut Love" Producer-Star Era: He revolutionized the "Big Fat Wedding Movie" genre with Parey Hut Love (2019) and Ho Mann Jahaan (2015), both of which he produced and starred in. Parey Hut Love remains one of the highest-grossing Pakistani films internationally, cementing his reputation as a visionary producer who prioritizes high production values. Television Evolution & "Pehli Si Muhabbat": After a focused stint in cinema, he returned to TV with the 2021 blockbuster Pehli Si Muhabbat opposite Maya Ali. He followed this with the progressive hit Kuch Ankahi (2023) and the female-centric military epic Sinf-e-Aahan, where he played the supportive Major Usama. Directorial Prowess: Sheheryar made a significant mark as a director with the short film Prince Charm-ing (2021) starring Mahira Khan and Zahid Ahmed. The film was praised for its sophisticated treatment of mental health and marital stagnation, winning him the Filmfare Middle East award for Best Short Film. Background & Personal Life: Born on August 9, 1988, in Karachi, he is an IBA (Institute of Business Administration) graduate. He belongs to a family of creatives; his father, Munawar Alam Siddiqui, is a retired Air Force officer and director. In late 2024, Sheheryar married Maheen Siddiqui in a private ceremony that trended globally.
