Usman Mukhtar is a versatile Pakistani actor, director, producer, and cinematographer, born on July 27, 1985, in Rawalpindi. His mother, veteran actress Nasira, influenced his early exposure to the entertainment industry. Despite his family's initial reservations about a career in film, Mukhtar pursued journalism and began his journey in filmmaking in 2006, primarily directing music videos. He transitioned into theatre acting in 2007, honing his craft on stage. Mukhtar gained prominence as a film actor with a supporting role in the 2016 film "Janaan," followed by another role in "Parchi" in 2018, where he also served as the cinematographer. His television acting debut came in 2019 with the Hum TV drama "Anaa," where he played his first lead role. He further solidified his position in the industry with critically acclaimed performances in dramas such as "Sabaat" (2020), "Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay" (2021), and "Sinf-e-Aahan" (2021).
