Naimal Khawar

Naimal is currently starring in the Green Entertainment mega-project Ishq Mein Khuda Mil Gaya. This project is historic as it marks the first-ever on-screen pairing of real-life couple Naimal and Hamza Ali Abbasi. Directed by the legendary Shehzad Kashmiri (Parizaad) and written by Mohsin Nadeem, the drama also features Azaan Sami Khan and Hiba Bukhari. As of mid-April 2026, the series has become a global trending topic for its spiritual and romantic narrative. The "Anaa" Breakthrough (2019): Before her hiatus, Naimal became a national sensation with her role as Izza in the 2019 drama Anaa. Her chemistry with Usman Mukhtar (Altamash) was so impactful that the "Altamash-Izza" pairing remains one of the most beloved in Pakistani TV history. Despite the immense fame, she chose to step away from acting shortly after the series concluded to focus on her original passion: painting. Cinematic Debut: She was discovered by director Shoaib Mansoor and made her debut in the 2017 social-drama film Verna. Playing the role of Maghul alongside Mahira Khan, her performance was praised for its raw intensity, especially as a newcomer to the industry. Visual Arts & Painting: Naimal is a formally trained artist, holding a degree in Visual Arts from the National College of Arts (NCA), Lahore. During her 2019–2024 acting break, she established herself as a successful painter, holding multiple exhibitions and launching her own digital gallery. She often describes herself as "an artist who happened to act". Background & Personal Life: Born on November 17, 1993, in Peshawar, Naimal is of Persian and Pakhtun descent. She married superstar Hamza Ali Abbasi in August 2019 in a simple, viral ceremony that trended for its minimalism. They have a son, Muhammad Mustafa Abbasi, born in 2020. Her return to the screen in 2026 was reportedly motivated by the "soul-stirring" quality of the script for Ishq Mein Khuda Mil Gaya.
